Potato Cutlet - A delicious, crispy and easy to prepare recipe with bread


Potato is very popular in every age group and is a good source of Potassium, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and it is Fat, Sodium and Cholestrol free. Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy for the body and are present in Potato. 

Potato Cutlet is a most favourable and easy to prepare recipe. It is one of the common snacks liked by everyone. There are various ways to prepare Potato cutlet and here you can see how to prepare a simple and delicious recipe.

Steps to prepare Potato Cutlet


Ingredients

Potatoes - 5 Medium Sized
Bread Slices - 5
Green Chillies (Finely Chopped) - 2
Green Coriander - 1/4 bowl
Coriander Seeds - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Dry Mango Powder(Amchur) - 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Recipe

- Boil the potatoes slightly less than completely boiled(so that it doesn't get mashed while grating).
- Grate the potatoes in a bowl. Cut the corners of the bread slices.
- Take water in a broad vessel, Soak bread in it and take it out immediately.
- Drain the water by pressing with your palms and add it to the bowl of potatoes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Form the shape of cutlets and deep fry them till golden colour.
- Serve with green chutney or tomato sauce.


Tip - You can stuff cheese in between the cutlet.
