Hill Stations are the favourite destinations for a person to relieve stress. Its natural beauty, scenic view, pleasant climate, calm atmosphere gives us soothing feeling and helps us to forget our hectic life schedule.

Every one wants to search for a location that gives immense peace and keep away from our daily life for a certain duration. It relaxes our body and soul. Once in a while, we must take a break to visit hill station to recharge our body.

During summers, hill stations are the best place to visit. As they are on the height and have more greenery which cools the climate, hence hills stations attracts more.

SHIMLA


Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh in the himalayan foothills. It has got a scenic location, it is surrounded by green hills with snow peaks. Kufri - Kufri is 13kms away from the main town. Kufri is becoming popular with the visitors, especially due to the zoo here. Kufri is very cold and is used as a ski ground during winters.
Toy Train - It is a narrow gauge train route which connects Kalka to Shimla. This route is one of the most scenic train routes in the world and it passes through more than 100 tunnels. This route has also been declared as a world heritage site.
Jakhoo Temple - This temple has the world's largest Hanuman statue visible from most parts of Shimla.

OOTY


Ooty is a hill station in the state of Tamil Nadu in Southern India. During April to June, Ooty is a welcome relief from the steaming plains. Ooty, also known as queen of hill stations and the capital of Nilgiris district, is one of the most popular tourist destinations. It is having beautiful mountain ranges with enjoyable weather conditions throughout the year. Hand gliding, trekking and mountain biking is available for adventures.

Toy Train - Toy train is the key attraction of this popular hill station. The route of the toy train is Mettupalayam - Kellar - Coonoor - Wellington - Lovedale - Ootacamund. It is the steepest rail system in Asia.
Ooty Lake - Ooty lake is an artificial lake that stretches behind the bus stand and forms an irregular "L" shape. Boat house is present where all kinds of boats are available for hire.
Ooty Botanical Garden - In Ooty Botanical garden, visitors are greeted with colourful natural beauty as they pass through the gates. Travellers admires the green lawns of the garden and the stunning variety of flowers, ferns and orchids.
Doddabetta Peak - It is the highest known peak in the region of Ooty. It is hardly 10kms from Ooty. It is wonderful place for capturing nature's scenic beauty in the camera.
   

MUSSOORIE


Mussoorie located around an hour from Dehradun in Uttarakhand. Mussoorie is a popular hill station for its heritage and its religious sites. DARJEELING


It is a beautiful town in west bengal in the Himalayan foothills. Darjeeling is a hill station with vast expanses of tea estates and tibetan influence in their craft culture and cuisine. The 3rd highest peak in the world and the highest in India, the Kanchenjunga peak is clearly visible from hear.

MUNNAR


Munnar is situated at the confluence of 3 mountain streams. It is located in Idukki district, Kerala.
