Home Remedies for preventing Hair loss
- Massage your scalp regularly, it will stimulate blood circulation and helps in hair growth. Coconut oil, almond oil and vitamin E oil prevents hair fall.
- Apply mixture of curd, lemon and mustard oil on your head, leave it for half an hour and then wash.
- Avoid over use of hair dryer, colouring , curling and other chemical treatments.
- Boil Amla (gooseberry) , shikakai , reetha (soapnut) at night. Stain it and add mehandi (henna) to it. Mix properly and keep overnight, preferably in iron vessel. Apply at morning for 45 min.
- Apply coconut milk to your scalp for 20 min.
- Soak fenugreek seeds (methi daana) in water overnight. In morning , make a paste and apply to your hair for 40 min.
- Apply onion juice to your scalp for 30 min
- Keep 2 green tea bags in hot water till water gets cold and use this water to rinse your hair.
- Apply egg white for 20 min over your scalp and hair.
- Have a healthy diet including vitamins, minerals and other nutrients by having fruits, vegetables, whole grains and nuts.
- Apply hot coconut or olive oil to add nourishment to your hair and prevent hair fall.
- Never comb wet hair.
- Regular exercise enhances blood circulation and improves the flow of oxygen to your scalp. This will prevent hair fall.
- Drink about 6-8 glasses of water daily.
- Don't shampoo your hair daily.
- Some asanas of Yoga enhances blood circulation to your head and scalp, thereby preventing hair loss.
- Eat more protein rich foods.
- Apply Aloe vera gel twice a week for an hour then wash it with lukewarm water.
