Pizza is an Italian dish most of the people like to eat. It consists of bread (Pizza Base), Sauces, vegetables and mostly cheese. You can opt for having pizza from various Pizza destinations and can prepare at your home also. There are different ways to prepare pizza like in Oven or in Pan.
Procedure to prepare Pan Pizza
Ingredients
- All purpose flour (Maida) - 1 cup
- Vegetables (Onion, Capsicum, Carrot, Corn etc)
- Grated Mozzarella Cheese - 1 cup
- Curd - 1/4 cup
- Red Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oregano - 1 tsp
- Pizza Sauce
- Tomato Sauce
- Garlic (Chopped) - 1 tsp
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Oil
- Salt to taste
Steps to prepare Pizza
- In a bowl add maida, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt. Mix it
- Add curd and mix it.
- Add water and make soft dough. Apply little oil on the dough.
- Cover it and rest it for 20 min.
- Apply little dough on the rolling surface and roll out the dough into round and thick chapati.
- Make several marks with knife or fork.
- Heat pan on low flame and spread little oil to the pan.
- Add pizza base to the pan with the side having fork marks towards the pan.
- After 1 min turn the side of the base.
- Spread tomato sauce and pizza sauce to the base and then add vegetables to it.
- Sprinkle Oregano and cheese over it.
- Cover the lid and cook for around 5 mins on low flame, till cheese melts completely.
- Sprinkle red chilli flakes and black pepper powder.
- Ready to serve.
